Who We Are and What We Do

Homeland Security Investigations Association (HSIA) PROVIDES support for the families and employees of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). As an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, HSIA is dedicated to providing assistance and financial aid to those in the HSI community during their most challenging moments. Whether in times of bereavement, transition from government service, or educational endeavors, HSIA is committed to being a pillar of strength, offering comfort, support, and resources tailored to the unique needs of our HSI family. 

Our efforts extend beyond immediate assistance, encompassing a future-focused vision through initiatives like our Scholarship Fund, which empowers the educational aspirations of HSI employees’ families. Our Annual Award Ceremony honors the HSI workforce’s exceptional service and commitment TO PUBLIC SAFETY AND NATIONAL SECURITY, spotlighting their achievements as a source of inspiration and pride. 

HSIA operates independently FROM and is not AFFILIATED WITH the U.S. Department of Homeland Security or HSI. While we are closely aligned with the values and goals of HSI, our organization neither receives approval, endorsement, nor authorization from the Department of Homeland Security or HSI in our fundraising or operational efforts. Our purpose is singular and steadfast: to ensure that our HSI family and their loved ones are supported, remembered, and honored, always keeping their welfare and legacy at the heart of what we do.
